Develop a plan. Way in advance put together a plan for your event and figure out all the things you need and the things that need to be done.
Start Early. You definitely don’t want to start doing things a couple months before. If you are using facilities and may need insurance, permission to use a certain places and plan on having a guest speaker it’s important that these things are done early. Why? Because it takes time
Get Volunteers. You will need help planning and setting up. Ask your family and friends for their help.
Promote Your Event. Let as many people as possible know what you are doing, so you can get as much support as possible. You can put up posters and hand out flyers.
Make sure you are in line with regulations and got all the permission you need.
