In the fundraising world, rewards are used to thank and motivate people. There are different types of reward’s programs but the most common ones work by creating levels of rewards for participants. Although, it might be better to skip the trinkets, and give rewards that can be used – something as simple as a pizza coupon or movie tickets.
Major donors should be rewarded with a major gift of appreciation. Silver and crystal products are often a good choice to individual or groups who have contributed major funding to your organization. Often times, these gifts will be donated by companies who produce these products and considered gifts in kind.
